So, let’s prepare a very healthy yet easy salad from Grapefruit.

Grapefruit Salad Ingredients:

  • Red chilli (dried)-1
  • Garlic – 2 cloves (chopped)
  • Jaggery – 20 gm
  • Tamarind pulp – 2 tsp
  • Shredded coconut – 1 tsp
  • Peanuts – 5
  • Grapefruit ( without peel) – 250 gm
  • little coriander (cilantro) – Half handful
  • Salt- to taste

How to make Grapefruit Salad at home?

  • *Dry-roast the dried red chilli, and then blend it with garlic to make a paste.
  • *Put this paste into a pan, along with jaggery, salt ( to taste) and tamarind pulp, add some water and simmer until the jaggery gets dissolved.
  • *Set the dressing aside to cool down while you make the salad.
  • *Dry-roast the shredded coconut for a couple of minutes, and then do the same with the peanuts.
  • *Now add tamarind dressing, peanuts and coconut to grapefruit pulp into a large bowl.
  • *Gently mix everything together.
  • *Put some fresh coriander and enjoy.
