Grapefruit Salad Ingredients:
- Red chilli (dried)-1
- Garlic – 2 cloves (chopped)
- Jaggery – 20 gm
- Tamarind pulp – 2 tsp
- Shredded coconut – 1 tsp
- Peanuts – 5
- Grapefruit ( without peel) – 250 gm
- little coriander (cilantro) – Half handful
- Salt- to taste
How to make Grapefruit Salad at home?
- *Dry-roast the dried red chilli, and then blend it with garlic to make a paste.
- *Put this paste into a pan, along with jaggery, salt ( to taste) and tamarind pulp, add some water and simmer until the jaggery gets dissolved.
- *Set the dressing aside to cool down while you make the salad.
- *Dry-roast the shredded coconut for a couple of minutes, and then do the same with the peanuts.
- *Now add tamarind dressing, peanuts and coconut to grapefruit pulp into a large bowl.
- *Gently mix everything together.
- *Put some fresh coriander and enjoy.
